Tutti Frutti...Too Much Red Dye in the Fruit Punch

Do you think I can convince my high school daughter that this recycled bag is the real Juicy Couture?  All it needs is a little crown!!!

Check out the real Juicy Couture website for their new fall handbags. Lots of quilted vinly (leather?) in pink, black and purple with fur and buckles.  You can get 10 of these Juice Box purses for one real Juicy Couture.  What a deal!!!

How many people get paid a penny a day to make these?  They have a lot of patience!  Do they drink a lot of Red Dye Punch while weaving?

It’s very pretty and fun for Eco Green fashion.

My lazy version is a large Hi-C Can with two holes drilled for a string handle.  I’ll post it when I make it.

Sturgis Liscence Plate..No cars allowed!

Big Daddy rode the Harley to the Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota and all I got was this purse………………..said the woman who sold it on Ebay!!!!

Thank goodness it’s made from a car plate!  Are cars even allowed?  Or is this what happens to cars durring the Rally?  Mandatory recycling?

Imagine what you could fit in one made from a bike plate?  A lipstick, a quarter and a piece of gum.  No Iphone!!! 

What else do you need?  I hear that clothes are optional.  Yuck?  Just think October Bike Week will be here soon in Daytona!!!

There is still time to heist a few Daytona Beach tags and make some purses!!!  Is anyone good with a screw driver and rolling metal?

Wow, someone was bored while drinking a lot of beer.  I hear that you have to pull the tabs off before recycling…………..or is that before drinking??????

This is one good way to save money to buy more beverages…….or to justify drinking from a can.

Nothing says September like blue jeans and football!!!

Do you remember making purses out of your old blue jeans in Middle School Home Economics?  I do…………however, I did go to scool in the South.

There is a lady on Ebay that custom makes these purses for your favorite team, Harley, camo guy or whatever your preference.  Please look for her.  Do you think a beverage can could fit in the pocket? 

If I used my old size 26 jeans for a purse, I sure could smuggle a lot of goodies into the game!

Dolly Partons Purse of Many Colors!!

I am not sure if it’s Shabby Chic or Victorian Granny.  It’s just too special not to share.  I want to carry it to a Tennessee Baptist Church Fried Chicken Social.  I want a matching big hat!!!

Everything about this feminine handmade craft purse reminds me about Dolly Parton.  Notice the curves!!

My Mom is the Original Green.

I remember Mom making us cut the buttons off of all of our old clothes before tossing them.  We would string the matching ones together. 

No donation stations for us.  We used everything as rags…..paper towels were unheard of! 

The buttons are all in her old sewing machine cabinet, which is now the stand for my bedroom flat screen TV. 

Now I know what to do with the buttons while watching HGTV!!!

Texas women have always known big style.  Can’t you just picture Lady Bird Johnson carrying one of these bags? 

My birth mom and birth aunt are Texans.  They both appreciate individuality, antiques, collecting, dolls and fun design!   Somehow Enid gives me a connection.

I found this link for a book on the history and photos of Enid Collins purses.  Enid was a prolific Texas designer with 100′s of designs in the 60′s and 70′s. I love her bags for the glitz, glamor and humor.
